2010 Mustangs Scholarship Program

The Mustangs staff has created the Mustangs Scholarship Program for the 2010 season. The Mustangs staff understands that in some instances a player may be very motivated and wish to play football, but due to financial circumstances may not be able to afford the associated fees. The Mustangs staff will be providing a 100% scholarship for one player to participate in our 2010 program.

How the program works

The player’s parent and or guardian will need to provide “proof of residency” in a participating city or county represented by the Mustangs football program. See the “Location” page on our web site. Such items as a player’s current grade card or progress report from school and a copy of a utility bill with the player and parent/guardian’s home address of record will be required.

Each player will then need to submit a two-page essay on “What Football Can Do For Me” to the Mustangs Football staff. The essay should be mailed to the Mustangs staff no later than June 1st, 2010. The scholarship winner will be announced by May 15th, 2010 in writing to the player’s parent/guardian.

When mailing your player’s essay please remember to include copies of:

  • The player’s current grade card or progress report from school
  • A utility bill, with the player and parent/guardian’s home address of record

Please mail all scholarship entries to:
